Poppies of Palestine Metalmesh Drape Necklace

White Metal Mesh  Poppies of Palestine Drape kerchief necklace. Handmade, crafted, and painted by Hushidar Mortezaie.  Red poppies from palestine grow through the barbed wire to reclaim their birthright . The barbed wire against the delicate white aluminum metal mesh with the poppies stained in blood  show the delicate beauty of this long time struggle against apartheid. Scrolling arabic writing includes "Felestin" and the message  "Palestine will be free." Partial proceeds will be donated to Heal Palestine : https://www.healpalestine.org/

 Using his own signature technique he invented back in the 00's, Hushidar has perfected his own special process done by hand and then sealed to protect the artwork .

This is a basic triangular drape necklace , painted on both sides, folded from a           8 " x 8"square of aluminum metal mesh 2 lengths of chain totaling 10.5 " with jump rings and lobster claws that attach at each corner of the triangle, going around the neck with an extension. This sits slightly higher on the neck than other typical metal mesh scarf necklaces to show the artwork better.
